Dr. Gaard Kets works as assistant professor of political theory at the department of Political Science at Radboud University. His research interests include the theory and practice of past and present forms of radical democracy, workplace democracy, council communism, social movements and revolution. In 2021, he defended his dissertation on council politics in the German Revolution of 1918-1919. He is currently involved in the research project Vive la Commune! as a postdoctoral researcher.
